1. Name (optional): -

2. Age (optional): 45

3. Nationality: British

4. Gender: male

5. How would you explain your path to someone else with no knowledge of it?

Eclectic Wiccan.... I started with a fairly traditional wiccan path mostly working with the greek pantheon and the few Celtic influences we really know of, but have since added practices from many other religions into my personal style and mostly work with the Egyptian pantheons as there is a lot of written knowledge about them to get a better understanding of their actual meanings.

6. How is your path expressed in practice?

Mostly solitary these days as I am not as sociable as I was a few years back, which means that the main part of my work is internalised i.e. I don't wave swords about or breathe fire as much as I used to... but then I still sometimes put on a show for the spirits and to keep my hand in for when I am performing a handfasting or other public ritual.

7. How do you know if your practice is successful?

Depends on what it is. A spell can often be seen to work, but a rite may not have any particular result that can be quantified except to perhaps improve the chances of your next physical magik working properly.

8. Why have you chosen the particular path you are following?

there are no others that I can believe in. I will not embrace a belief system that abdicates personal responsibility of any kind and I will not accept anything that is out of balance as being the whole truth. Paganism is beautiful and brutal, good and bad all in balance

9. What is your experience of otherworld beings? Could you give some examples.

No! most humans I know are otherworld beings! and I am not sure what world I belong to sometimes I do see and hear things others don't, but that is in their view insanity and in my view their blindness

10. How do you see your relationship with them?

Some I like. Some I dislike, most I just know

11. How does your path relate to other areas of your life?

it is my life, it integrates with everything I do.

12. How do you see the relationship of life and death?

I think I like life quite a lot, can't be so sure that death is more or less fun it's sort of a vague memory

13. How do you see time?

I have difficulty with time. it's not something I have ever really believed in but it one of those evil forces that drives modern society

14. How do you handle ideas of good and evil?

there is no black or white... they are just different shades of the same colour most of life is poised somewhere between good and evil personally I prefer to add more to the good side as I think the evil is to heavy

15. How do you view different spaces and objects in your practice or experience?

not sure I understand this question

16. How do you feel about other religions?

they keep the sheep happy and that gives me space to work my pa

17. How do you feel about science?

Love it, science is just the rationalisation of magik and will I am sure one day realise that fact

18. How do you feel modern Paganisms relate to ancient paganisms?

It does and it doesn't. Society has changed and that requires a change in belief systems. I don't do sacrifices any more but then nor do the Jewish or many of the other older faiths that used to practice this form of worship. Though some Pagans feel it is necessary to try to work the same way as the ancients, I feel that it is more acceptable to question everything NOW and work acordingly.
