Public or open rituals are generally more low-key than private ones held among trusted groups. However, they are an excellent introduction to Pagan celebration, and a good way for people to find out if a particular Pagan path is for them. They are usually more organised and scripted than small private rituals, though there may be opportunities for optional audience participation.
